VICKSBURG, Miss. — The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Vicksburg District's construction of the Lower Mississippi River Museum and Riverfront Interpretive Center is nearing completion. The museum will consist of a two-story, 20,000-square foot building attached to the Motor Vessel Mississippi. The building will include a reception area, orientation theater, interactive displays and exhibits and a classroom/activity room.
