USACE FEST-A travels to Estonia, Croatia
A four-man U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Forward Engineering Support Team-Advance traveled to Latvia, Estonia and Croatia May 8-19, 2012 to conduct route recognizance and assessments of a hydroelectric plant, building and bridge in support of the U.S. Army Europe (USAREUR) Saber Strike and Immediate Response exercises. Tim Nauman, a USACE Europe District electrical engineer, augmented the FEST-A in Croatia to assist with the hydroelectric power plant inspection and assessment. The USAREUR exercises are designed to enhance interoperability between participating militaries.
