USACE Chief of Engineers presents the Corps Castle
WASHINGTON — Maj. Gen. Merdith Temple, acting chief of engineers of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, presents a Corps Castle to Leland Johnson, author of "Situation Desperate: U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Disaster Relief Operations, Origins to 1950". Johnson is a freelance writer and researcher from Westmoreland, Tenn. The Office of History officially published the book in a ceremony at the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Headquarters, Mar. 23, 2012.
