NEW YORK — Lighting at the Armed Forces Recruiting Station in Times Square, part of a recently completed U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, New York District project, shines bright Dec. 7, 2011. The project included upgrades to the station and the replacement and installation of illuminated energy efficient light emitting diodes American Flags on both sides of the station. The new look will help the station to continue to synchronize with the backdrop of Times Square and heighten security and visibility while also increasing the energy efficiency of the facility.
