Acting Commanding General of USACE gets briefing on debris cleanup mission
JOPLIN, Mo. -- Simon Fet, manager of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers temporary housing mission here, describes progress made on two temporary housing sites to Major Gen. Merdith W. B. "Bo" Temple, acting chief of engineers and acting commanding general of USACE, during a visit July 19. While here, Temple visited with Corps employees and reviewed construction of temporary school facilities and debris removal. Fet is a deployed employee from the Corps' Huntington District, located in Huntington, W.Va. More than 300 Corps employees have volunteered to serve in support of federal recovery operations here.
