SEOUL, Republic of Korea — Lt. Gen. Thomas Bostick, commanding general of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, meets with Vice Minister of National Defense Lee Young-geol July 17, 2012 during his visit to the Republic of Korea July 16-17. During his two-day visit, Bostick met with U.S. and Korean military officials and toured the multi-billion dollar construction project at U.S. Army Garrison Humphreys, about 40 miles south of Seoul.

Spc. Timothy Steely, a current Operation Warfighter intern, speaks with Charles Case from the Defense Criminal Investigation Service, one of the agencies represented at the meeting. Operation Warfighter is a federal internship program that places Wounded Warriors in positions at federal agencies while they are completing their medical board process. The Tulsa District has had multiple Operation Warfighter interns at the agency.

DUCK, N.C. —  After a day of gathering coastal survey information, it was time to wash the Army Corps of Engineers Lighter, Amphibious, Resupply, Cargo vessel and head back to the office, then home for the evening. At least that was Mark Preisser's thought before a rip current changed the plan.
