17-027 Corps awards new contract to complete lock work at Little Goose; estimated return-to-service date updated

STARBUCK, Wash. – A new contractor reassessed Little Goose Dam’s navigation lock maintenance and repair status and estimated remaining work required to return the lock to service will delay reopening the lock until 11:59 p.m. on April 2, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers officials in the Walla Walla District announced, today.

The goals of this solicitation are for the Government to obtain quality services, at reasonable prices, to meet public demand, and at the same time, allowing entrepreneurs to make a fair profit.

17-025 Corps of Engineers portion of Canyon Creek Road to Dworshak Reservoir closed due to landslide

AHSAHKA, Idaho – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers portion of Canyon Creek Road leading to Canyon Creek Campground at Dworshak Dam and Reservoir has been closed due to a rock and mud landslide. The road is planned to be re-opened by the Corps sometime next week.
