Published July 16, 2020

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Kansas City District is requesting feedback from contractors and industry regarding the upcoming large levee and floodwall raise project along the Argentine, Armourdale, and Central Industrial District levee units in Kansas City, Kan. and Kansas City, Mo.

These improvements will reduce the risk of flooding to the area and improve the reliability and resiliency of the levee and floodwall system. The goal of this effort is to obtain industry feedback early in the design process and potentially incorporate advice from contractors into the final plans and specifications.

USACE has released the draft 65% submittal for the levee and floodwall improvements and posted it at the link below. A webinar will be held with industry on July 21, 2020 to provide an overview of the project and solicitation process to interested parties.
