21-047 Corps of Engineers to close Asotin Boat Ramp during jet boat race Aug. 28-29
ASOTIN, Wash. – Due to the upcoming Thunder on the Snake Jet River Marathon, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Lower Granite Natural Resources Office will be closing the Asotin Boat Ramp starting Friday August 27 and reopening Sunday August 29 for safety.

BURBANK, Wash. – The visitor center at Ice Harbor Lock and Dam, located at Snake River Mile 9.7, on Ice Harbor Road, near Burbank, Washington, will be closed until further notice, effective immediately.

STARBUCK, Wash. – Little Goose Lock and Dam will be temporarily closing public access to the esplanade picnic and fishing areas on Friday, July 23 to accommodate asphalt maintenance work in the adjacent parking lot.

NR 21-25: Laurel River Lake beach closed due to high E.coli levels
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (June 4, 2021) - The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Nashville District announces the immediate closure of Spillway Beach at Laurel River Lake in London, Kentucky, due to E.coli detected in the water. High water levels and geese are suspected to be the cause.

South Jetty rehab close parts of Fort Stevens State Park
South Jetty rehabilitation will temporarily close the observation tower at Lot “C” at Fort Stevens State Park beginning April 19. Lot “C” and the bathrooms remain open for public access but the tower will be closed until further notice. Construction progress will determine the reopening date and a separate announcement will follow.
