    Since the creation of its Levee Safety Program in 2006, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers has made great strides in the rapidly evolving field of levee safety.

    The Holcim Foundation recognized a 26-person multidisciplinary team from the U.S Army Corps of Engineers for their work on a net zero implementation plan for Fort Leonard Wood, Mo. The foundation honored the team during a ceremony Oct. 20 at the National Building Museum in Washington, D.C.
  • D.C. students enjoy Anacostia River

    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers joined Wilderness Inquiry, a nonprofit outdoor adventure group, and several other federal and local partnering agencies and organizations in hosting the second annual Paddling the Anacostia River event in Washington, D.C.
