    USACE talks STEM at Boy Scouts Summerfest

    SAVANNAH, Ga. - A group of 275 scouts representing seven states explored potential career paths in STEM - science, technology, engineering and mathematics - during the annual Coastal Empire Council Boy Scouts of America Summerfest, July 22. Members of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Savannah District staffed an exhibit at Summerfest demonstrating the functions of wetlands and the importance of regulating them.

  • U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and Cleveland Museum of Natural History execute agreement

    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Buffalo District and the Cleveland Museum of Natural History executed a Project Partnership Agreement, August 10, 2020 to begin a project that will control flowering rush at Mentor Lagoons Nature Preserve and Mentor Marsh State Nature Preserve located on the southern shore of Lake Erie in the City of Mentor, OH.
