In conjunction with National Dam Safety Awareness Day May 31, 2015, the district is highlighting the major effort it took to construct concrete barrier walls deep into the foundations of these dams.

Approximately one and a half hours in length, the tours are scheduled for June 20 and Aug. 8 with a tour start time of 11 a.m.

    CELINA, Tenn. (May 22, 2015) – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Nashville District is offering the public free guided tours of the Dale Hollow Dam Power Plant located in Celina, Tenn. Not all portions of the dam will be accessible to the public due to safety concerns.
