  • Corps announces temporary closure at Lower St. Anthony Falls Lock and Dam

    ST. PAUL, Minn. – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, St. Paul District, announced today that Lower St. Anthony Falls Lock and Dam, in Minneapolis, will be closed to all traffic until further notice due to electrical issues with the dam’s fourth gate. The Corps is working to fix the issue and hopes to resume service as soon as possible. A notice will be sent out once service resumes.
  • Center Hill Dam road and recreation areas temporarily closing

    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Nashville District announces the section of State Highway 141/96 that crosses over Center Hill Dam as well as Buffalo Valley Recreation Area and Long Branch Recreation Area will be closed 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Monday, June 10.
  • Construction to begin at Mill Creek June 10

    WALLA WALLA, Wash. – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Walla Walla District will begin construction projects at Mill Creek, June 10, to improve habitat conditions for endangered salmonids and improve flood risk management operations, while also replacing the boat ramp for public use at Bennington Lake.

    MOUNTAIN HOME, Ark. – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is scheduling a single lane closure of Highway 177 across Norfork Dam starting at 7 a.m. May 29, 2024, and continuing through late January 2025, for routine maintenance.

    ROGERS, Ark. – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Beaver Lake Project Office is closing swim beaches at Hickory Creek, Horseshoe Bend Campground, Indian Creek, Lost Bridge South, Prairie Creek, Rocky Branch Day Use, Rocky Branch Campground, Dam Site Island, War Eagle and Horseshoe Bend Day Use Area until further notice.

  • One lane of Highway 60 across Toad Suck Dam to temporarily close

    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is scheduling a one lane closure for the Highway 60 bridge across Toad Suck Dam from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. on May 7, 2024, for a routine bridge inspection.
  • Lower Monumental Dam closes public dam crossing April 16 through 18

    KAHLOTUS, Wash. – Officials at Lower Monumental Lock and Dam will be closing public dam crossings April 16 through 18 to perform maintenance.
  • St. Claude Bridge closed to traffic morning of April 2 while equipment moved to IHNC Lock

    NEW ORLEANS – The St. Claude Bridge in New Orleans, La., is scheduled to be closed to vehicular traffic on April 2, 2024, from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. while the U.S. Army Corp of Engineers, New Orleans District conducts emergency repairs to address a failed hinge gate assembly at the Inner Harbor Navigation Canal (IHNC) Lock.
