  • A Community of Practice is born

    The Invasive Species Leadership Team was established to provide direction to the ongoing research program, represent the Corps on regional invasive species councils and assist Corps headquarters in the development of national invasive species policy and program management.
  • District to hold meetings about Martis Creek Lake and Dam master plan

    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Sacramento District will host public meetings July 29 and July 30 seeking input to update Martis Creek Lake and Dam’s master plan, which guides the management of natural and cultural resources and development of recreation-related facilities in and around the Corps-managed reservoir near Truckee.

    NASHVILLE, Tenn. (May 13, 2011) – National Volunteer week took place April 10-16, and Girl Scout Troop 1047 led by Tracey Strong of Monticello, Kentucky volunteered their service on Lake Cumberland’s Black Walnut Trail April 16.
