    Walla Walla, WA – The Walla Walla District Corps of Engineers will be modifying the landscaping around its district office campus this summer. These changes are being made to create a more people- friendly experience for our community, reduce maintenance costs and align with Executive Orders for energy and water-savings.

    The Memphis District recently awarded a task order to restore existing revetment and repair over-steepened banks along the Mississippi River in Coahoma County, Mississippi, and Phillips County, Arkansas. A total of $1,344,000 was awarded on the current River Repairs IDIQ (Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity) Contract to Midwest Construction Company.

  • 21-007 Maintenance building upgrades to result in parking lot closure at Mill Creek

    Walla Walla, WA -- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers’ Walla Walla District (Corps) will be trenching a septic line for the new maintenance building near the Mill Creek office beginning tomorrow, March 3. This work will result in the closure of the parking lot and road to the Mill Creek Office, March 3 and 4.

  • Kansas City District awards contracts totaling $17 million for repair of pump stations

    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Kansas City District, awarded two contracts totaling $17M to Supplied Industrial Solutions of Granite City, Illinois to complete repairs and modifications to ten pump stations along the Armourdale and Central Industrial District Levee Units. Due to diligent work by all team members, these contracts were awarded early, thus meeting a USACE goal to start and finish projects faster.
