    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Louisville District hosted a virtual open house Jan. 27, 2022, for businesses seeking to work with the federal government. The free annual event is open to businesses, large and small, interested in working with the Louisville District. The event included briefings from Louisville District Commander Col. Eric Crispino and other members of district staff and opportunities to network with district leadership throughout the event.
  • Corps awards $28.8 million in contracts to renovate Fountain City Service Base

    ST. PAUL, Minn. – Yesterday, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, St. Paul District, awarded a $10.2 million contract to Newt Marine Service out of Dubuque, Iowa, for Mooring Dolphin replacement and an $18.6 million contract to Kraemer North America out of Plain, Wisconsin, for the design-build of a straight-line mooring solution at the district’s Fountain City Services Base in Pool 5A of the Upper Mississippi River, located in Fountain City, Wisconsin.
  • Jacksonville District, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, awards contracts for maintenance dredging of Tampa Harbor Upper Channels, Alafia River

    U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Jacksonville District, awarded a contract Sept. 20, 2021for the maintenance dredging of the Tampa Harbor Upper Channels to Orion Marine Construction, Inc., of Tampa, Florida, in the amount of $3.45 million.

    The Memphis District recently awarded a task order to restore existing revetment and repair over-steepened banks along the Mississippi River in Coahoma County, Mississippi, and Phillips County, Arkansas. A total of $1,344,000 was awarded on the current River Repairs IDIQ (Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity) Contract to Midwest Construction Company.
