    NASHVILLE, Tenn. (March 22, 2018) – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Nashville District at J. Percy Priest Dam & Reservoir is offering two free guided tours of the J. Percy Priest Hydroelectric Dam in celebration of the reservoir's 50th anniversary. Dam tours will be held Friday, June 29, 2018 at 11:45 a.m. and 1 p.m. There is a limit of 25 people per tour.

(May 19, 2016) – Due to lack of substantial rainfall in the past months, U.S. Drought Monitor classification has much of the Cumberland River Basin including the Stones River Watershed in the Moderate Drought category. Currently, J. Percy Priest Lake’s elevation is approximately three feet below the top of summer pool, and without significant rainfall the lake may not reach its typical summer elevation of 490 feet above mean sea level.
