  • High water impacts to Tulsa District Corps recreation areas

    The Tulsa District U.S. Army Corps of Engineers announced today a list of temporary recreation closures due to high water from recent rain events in the district. This list will be updated as needed. Visitors should note that this is a dynamic situation and this information could change within a few hours depending upon rainfall. It is best to call the lake office to check on campsite and boat ramp availability or go to Recreation.gov before going to the lake.

    The Tulsa District U.S. Army Corps of Engineers announced today the temporary closure of two boat ramps and the placement of new buoys on the west end of Skiatook Lake at Twin Points and Hominy Landing recreation areas due to low water levels brought on by the continuing drought.

  • Blue Marsh Lake Day Use Area to Re-Open

    With the reduction in lake level, the staff at Blue Marsh will open the Dry Brooks Day Use area and Church Road Access for day use activities on Saturday, May 3. Swimming at the beach area will be prohibited. Restroom facilities at both areas will be restricted to portable toilets only.
