Fargo-Moorhead diversion project receives $20 million in Corps work plan

ST. PAUL, Minn. – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, St. Paul District, received $20 million to continue construction of the Fargo-Moorhead Metropolitan Flood Risk Management Project in the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Fiscal Year 2017 Work Plan released late yesterday.

Corps unable to construct temporary diversion structure in Nevada community

LOS ANGELES--Under the Advanced Measures mandate (Public Law 84-99), the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Los Angeles District has designed and received funding for construction of a temporary structure to divert water and debris away from the Rainbow Canyon subdivision in Mt. Charleston, Nev. However, the structure cannot be built.
