The Egyptian Air Force has a new three-bay C-130 maintenance hangar at Cairo West Air Base, Cairo. The 10,400-square meter hangar, built by Contrack International, Inc., was completed in April, on schedule and for $14,227,487.

Mr. Robert Burkhardt, director of the Army’s Topographic Engineering Center (TEC), received the Army’s Decoration for Exceptional Civilian Service during an awards ceremony held at the Pentagon yesterday. This decoration is the highest Department of the Army honorary award granted by the Secretary of the Army.
