  • NR 21-04: Martins Fork Lake Field Office set to reopen

    NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Feb. 11, 2021) – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Nashville District announces that the Martins Fork Lake Field Office located in Smith, Kentucky, is set to reopen to visitors Tuesday, Feb. 16, 2021. The office previously only accepted visitors by appointment only as a precaution to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

  • Cochiti Lake to reopen January 4, 2021

    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Albuquerque District announced Dec. 21, 2020, that Cochiti Lake is scheduled to reopen for day use beginning Jan. 4, 2021.

  • NR 20-024: Cheatham Lake Right Bank Recreation Area reopens

    NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Sept. 11, 2020) – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Nashville District announces that the Right Bank Recreation Area Beach at Cheatham Lake in Ashland City, Tennessee, is reopened as water conditions have returned to acceptable levels.

  • Vicksburg District to reopen select beaches and recreation areas at Mississippi lakes beginning July 6

    Vicksburg, Miss. – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Vicksburg District will reopen select beaches and recreation areas at its Mississippi lakes – Arkabutla Lake, Sardis Lake, Enid Lake and Grenada Lake – and incorporate preventative health measures beginning July 6.
