Personnel at the Naval Support Activity located in Manama, the capital city of Bahrain face this on a daily basis when traveling between Naval Support Activity 1 and Naval Support Activity 2. The two areas are divided by a busy roadway.

    Sacramento District wraps up vital Napa River ARRA construction contract

    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Sacramento District would like to change that history, as it will wrap up construction Aug. 3, 2012 on a significant effort in downtown Napa to raise 3,300 feet of railroad tracks as much as six feet and construct two new bridges to help reduce the city's flood risk.

    USACE achieves major construction milestone at Tamiami Trail

    The U.S Army Corps of Engineers Jacksonville District reached a major milestone for the Tamiami Trail Modifications project was reached shortly after midnight July 13, 2012 as the first concrete pour on the bridge deck was completed.
