    GERMANY — Alex Cansler, a rising U.S. Military Academy at West Point junior majoring in Civil Engineering, took part in the school's Academic Individual Advanced Development program working for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Europe District this summer.

    United States Military Academy at West Point Cadets traveled to Europe this summer wearing construction boots rather than backpacks, ready to apply classroom lessons to real work with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Europe District.

Guttormsen leaves to become the Division Engineer for the 25th Infantry Division, Schofield Barracks, Hawaii. Asbery most recently served as the Executive Officer to the Commanding General, Human Resources Command, Fort Knox, Kentucky. Asbery deployed twice in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. He also deployed to the Mississippi Coast in support of Hurricane Katrina disaster relief efforts in 2005 as a Forward Engineer Support Team leader.
