  • District’s leadership development class develops outreach tool in English and Navajo

    Each year students in the district’s Leadership Development Program work on a project that both benefits the district and allows the LDP student team to incorporate and apply the new leadership skills they have learned in the program. In 2024, the students developed engaging and accessible audio content highlighting the missions of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers-Albuquerque District.

  • LDP grads on program: Making connections, overcoming obstacles, coming out stronger

    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Memphis District invests in employees and develops their leadership skills by utilizing the Leadership Development Program (LDP). LDP graduates are said to benefit from an expanded network of mentors, elevated promotion potential, and a greater understanding of the enterprise and district (to name a few). Having more mentors and a better chance at promotion is nice, but according to the class of 2022, these perks are barely a fraction of what participants can get out of this yearlong program.
  • Louisville District celebrates Leadership Development Program graduations

    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Louisville District celebrated the graduation of the participants of Leadership Development Program Level 1 July 12, and Level 2 on Aug. 4, at the Romano Mazzoli Federal Building in Louisville, Kentucky. Both Leadership Development Program Levels consist of 11-months of professional development to advance the students’ leadership skills through formal training, mentoring, and experiential learning. 
  • Field trip to Redstone helps Huntsville Center LDP group expand leadership horizons

    The U.S. Army Engineering and Support Center, Huntsville’s 2020 Leadership Development Program I group expanded their knowledge base during a team-building trip to the Prototype Integration Facility and NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center area of operations Jan. 31, 2020.
  • 14 employees complete Huntsville Center’s 2018-2019 LDP Level II course

    Fourteen Huntsville Center employees graduated June 18 from Level II of the Leadership Development Program course.
