  • USACE Vicksburg District’s Holly Porter named 2021 Program Manager of the Year

    Success comes in many forms, and many attribute their personal success to those who have helped them achieve it. Holly Porter, Project Manager with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Vicksburg District, credits her success to those who helped pave the way for her. Porter was recently named the 2021 USACE Program Manager of the Year. This national recognition highlighted the work Holly has done and the strides she has made throughout the region.
  • Northwestern Division transfers command; Accomplished scholar-soldier takes over largest USACE division

    Brig. Gen. Peter Helmlinger transferred command of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Northwestern Division to Col. Geoff Van Epps today in a ceremony at Bonneville Dam on the Columbia River. Van Epps comes to the Northwestern Division from the Office of the Chief of Engineers in Washington, D.C., where he served as director of the Pentagon office of the Chief of Engineers, Lt. Gen. Scott Spellmon. “I’m very pleased to be included in the story of this unit along with all its stellar employees, past and present,” said Van Epps. “Together, we’ll continue to develop our people, collaborate with our partners, and deliver the program for our country and corps.”
  • U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Baltimore District welcomes new commander

    Col. Estee S. Pinchasin became the 69th commander of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Baltimore District, during a change of command ceremony at the Washington Aqueduct in Washington D.C., July 16, 2021. Pinchasin assumed command from Col. John T. Litz, who had served in the role since July 2018.
  • USACE Vicksburg District announces new chief of OCIO/G-6

    VICKSBURG, Miss. – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Vicksburg District has selected Michael Stucky as chief of OCIO/G-6, formerly known as ACE-IT. In this role, Stucky will provide guidance for a range of information management and information technology services that support district operations, communication and internal security.

    ST. PAUL, Minn. –The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, St. Paul District, selected Bryan Peterson, a Houston, Minnesota, resident, and navigation business line manager for the district as one of its three Civil Servants of the Year for 2020.

    VICKSBURG, Miss. – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Vicksburg District has selected Cora Fuller as chief of Internal Review. Fuller will advise USACE Vicksburg District Commander Robert Hilliard on accounting, financial, and managerial issues that require examination by a financial professional. In this role, she will provide a full spectrum of internal review and related services designed to add value to command operations.
