    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Memphis District invests in employees and develops their leadership skills by utilizing the Leadership Development Program (LDP). LDP graduates are said to benefit from an expanded network of mentors, elevated promotion potential, and a greater understanding of the enterprise and district (to name a few). Having more mentors and a better chance at promotion is nice, but according to the class of 2022, these perks are barely a fraction of what participants can get out of this yearlong program.

    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Louisville District celebrated the graduation of the participants of Leadership Development Program Level 1 July 12, and Level 2 on Aug. 4, at the Romano Mazzoli Federal Building in Louisville, Kentucky. Both Leadership Development Program Levels consist of 11-months of professional development to advance the students’ leadership skills through formal training, mentoring, and experiential learning.

  • USACE Vicksburg District announces new Regulatory Chief

    VICKSBURG, Miss. – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Vicksburg District announces the selection of Kristina “Kristi” Hall as the new Regulatory Division chief. The mission of the USACE Regulatory Program is to protect the Nation's aquatic resources, while allowing reasonable development through fair, flexible, and balanced permit decisions. In her new position, Hall will oversee and manage the actions and requests that are submitted regarding the waters or wetlands within the district’s area of responsibility, as well as maintain the mitigation program to offset the losses to the aquatic environment.
