Pre-Proposal Conference held Feb. 18
The Middle East District hosted a pre-proposal conference on Feb. 18 for two contracts that will provide operations and maintenance (O&M) services to the Afghanistan National Security Forces (ANSF). Thirty-nine contractors representing 28 international firms attended theconference.

New detention facility in Afghanistan a team effort
The new Shamali Detention Facility, located about 40 miles north of Kabul, Afghanistan, will soon replace the Bagram Theater Internment Facility (BTIF) and is considered the new standard for detention facilities in Central Asia and the Middle East.
