Abiquiu Lake Updates Lake Elevation Measurement Equipment

Daily lake elevation readings at Abiquiu Lake have historically been taken from an internal structure known as the float well. This year the lake is getting a new system to measure lake elevation, called a "bubbler system."

Additional Gavins Point Releases Being Made

Water releases from Gavins Point Dam near Yankton, S.D., have been increased to 50,000 cubic feet per second and will be increased to 60,000 cfs later today and Friday. Efforts being made to minimize downstream impacts.
