USACE Chicago District prepared to respond to Coronavirus

Published March 19, 2020

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Chicago District is prepared to respond accordingly to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) situation and will provide additional information to the public as it develops.

The Chicago District continues to maintain operations at its key facilities while dealing with the impacts of Coronavirus. The district is currently restricting access to all of its office and project sites to employees, contractors and essential service personnel to ensure a safe and healthy workplace for our people – our top priority.

In addition, the Chicago District’s regulatory branch is requesting all incoming regulatory correspondence be submitted electronically to lrcregweb@usace.army.mil. If an application or request has already been assigned to a project manager (PM), please email any submittals directly to the PM.

The Chicago District urges everyone to follow the Centers for Disease Control’s guidelines on how to protect yourself throughout the Coronavirus situation and to remain diligent. USACE guidelines and more information can be found at https://www.usace.army.mil/Coronavirus/.
