  • Corps announces the second phase of reopenings at recreation facilities

    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Jacksonville District announces a second phase of reopenings starting October 9, at Corps-managed recreation areas along the Okeechobee Waterway that were closed in March to protect against the further spread of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).

    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Sacramento District will host a virtual public meeting on Thursday, June 4, 2020, to discuss the site selection process for a permanent U.S. Forest Service visitor center in Lake Isabella.

  • Save Our Streams Workshop

    (Knoxville, Iowa) –   On Saturday, April 4th, the Izaak Walton League is partnering with the US Army Corps of Engineers at Lake Red Rock to provide a certification workshop for anyone interested in becoming a Save Our Streams water quality monitor. The workshop will be held from 9:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. at the Red Rock Visitor Center.
