    The park ranger is the face of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at each of its lakes and reservoirs. You see them patrolling the lakes, campgrounds, recreation areas and picnicking sites. If you had the chance to step into their shoes for a day, would you do it? Members of the local Dallas and Fort Worth media had that opportunity recently during a ranger orientation day.
  • Green becomes 68th commander of Nashville District

    NASHVILLE, Tenn. (June 16, 2023) – Lt. Col. Robert W. Green took command of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Nashville District today during a change of command ceremony at the Tennessee National Guard Armory. He becomes the 68th commander of the “twin rivers” district, commonly referred to as the jewel of the Great Lakes and Ohio River Division.

(June 13, 2023) – Civil Engineer Brandon Whitley recently made a critical design update that resulted in keeping the Mouse Creek Flood Risk Management Project on track in Cleveland, Tennessee. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Nashville District recognized his achievement by selecting him as employee of the month for April 2023.
