  • Army issues notice of intent to award for Fort Campbell solar project

    Huntsville Center, working with the U.S. Army Garrison – Fort Campbell, Kentucky, today issued a notice of intent to award to BITHENERGY for a 3.1MW Solar array Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) that will complete the installation’s requirement for a 5MW solar array.
  • Construction begins on largest solar array in Kentucky

    A May 27 groundbreaking ceremony at the site of a capped landfill on Fort Campbell marked the beginning of construction of the largest solar array in Kentucky. Huntsville Center's Utility Energy Services Contracting (UESC) and Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) programs are providing project management oversight in coordination with Fort Campbell for this solar project.
  • $1.5 billion ESPC MATOC awarded to 14 companies

    Thirteen large businesses and one small business will share capacity on a $1.5 billion Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Energy Savings Performance Contracting (ESPC) Multiple Award Task Order Contract (MATOC) for the design, construction and operation of energy savings projects to help military installations meet mandated energy savings goals.

    Huntsville Center awarded a task order contract to Honeywell International, Federal Systems Group, of Columbia, Maryland, to perform work under an energy savings performance contract at Rock Island Arsenal, Illinois.
