    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at Loyalhanna Lake has temporarily closed the public boat launch at the Bush Recreation Area because of high water and unsafe conditions. This is due to Loyalhanna Dam storing excess run-off to reduce the possibility of downstream flooding.

The free guided tours of the structure are at 2 p.m. and are approximately 45 minutes in length.

Percy Priest Dam from 7 a.m. Monday through 5 p.m. Friday between June 2 and July 11 while the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Nashville District replaces the spillway gate chains and performs routine maintenance, which is required every five years. The roadway will be open on weekends over the duration of the work.
