    Work continues on a new $59.5 million state-of-the-art maintenance hangar at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base, in Goldsboro, North Carolina. The facility, under construction by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Savannah District, will support the new KC-46A Pegasus, a mid-air refueling tanker set to arrive at the installation in the summer of 2020.

  • NR 19-032: Closure of Bell Road scheduled at J. Percy Priest Dam

    NASHVILLE, Tenn. (May 29, 2019) – Bell Road is closing at J. Percy Priest Dam from 7 a.m. Monday to 4 p.m. Thursday (day and night) the weeks of June 3-6 and July 15-18. The road is also closing 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily June 10-13, June 17-20, June 24-27, and July 8-11 while the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Nashville District performs a five-year inspection of the spillway gates, chains, machinery and performs routine maintenance. The roadway will be open on weekends over the duration of the work. The roadway remains open Monday through Thursday, July 1-4, for Independence Day celebrations.

    AHSAHKA, Idaho – Summer is just around the corner and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Dworshak Dam Visitor Center will be open 7 days a week starting Friday, May 24, of Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend. Dam tours will be offered daily at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. Tours are limited to eight people, and photo identification is required.
