  • Corps to resume collection of recreation fees at Coralville Lake

    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Rock Island District, will resume collection of recreational day use fees for boat ramps at Coralville Lake beginning April 1. Launching fees are $5 per day, per vehicle and can be paid with a credit or debit card via the self-serve machines at each boat ramp location. No cash or coins will be accepted at Mehaffey and West Overlook. Sandy Beach boat ramp will continue to be free of charge.

No cash or coins will be accepted at Cherry Glen, Sandpiper and Lakeview Main boat ramps. Lakeview Highwater boat ramp remains a cash or check only ramp with envelopes provided at the dropbox.

  • NR 21-15: Closure of Center Hill Recreation Area begins evening of April 7

    LANCASTER, Tenn. (March 30, 2021) – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Nashville District is closing Center Hill Lake Recreation Area, also known as Ike Park. The ramp, shelters, and restroom facilities are scheduled to be closed 6 p.m. Wednesday, April 7 through April 8, 2021 for a Corps of Engineers hosted event.
  • Stockton Lake releases increased

    Due to sustained high inflows into Stockton Lake since March 12th, releases of 5,500 cubic feet per second, or cfs, and up to 6,300 cfs will continue as downstream conditions allow.
  • Pomme de Terre Lake releases increased

    Pomme de Terre Lake continues to maintain high inflows that began on March 12th and is expected to continue through early spring. The lake will continue to maximize releases of 3,000 cubic feet per second, or cfs, up to 3,500 cfs as downstream conditions allow.
  • U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection Sign Project Partnership Agreement for Passaic River Tidal Coastal Storm Risk Management Project

    NEW JERSEY – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEP) recently signed a Project Partnership Agreement (PPA) for the Passaic River Tidal Coastal Storm Risk Management Project, New Jersey. The PPA was signed March 17, 2021 by Col. Matthew W. Luzzatto, Commander of the New York District of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and Mr. David Rosenblatt, Assistant Commissioner, New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection. The signing allows the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers to move forward on the design and implementation phase of the coastal storm risk management project.

    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at Allatoona Lake Project announced today that for the 2021/2022 season, hunters will be allowed to hunt in designated areas without requiring a permit.
  • JENNINGS FERRY CAMPGROUND AND WATER ACCESS POINT TEMPORARILY CLOSED

    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at Black Warrior and Tombigbee River Lakes announced today that the Jennings Ferry Campground and water access point will be temporarily closed for public use as of June 1, 2021 to complete repairs to the waste treatment system.
