Morgan was selected and started with the district on Jan. 23, bringing with him nearly 17 years of service to the Nation in the Army. This is Morgan's second time serving as deputy commander for a U.S. Army Corps of Engineers' district, having also done so from 2013 - 2015, at the Nashville District, ironically as his older brother Clay was also serving as deputy commander at the Fort Worth District (and still is).

    NASHVILLE, Tenn. (July 29, 2015) – An Air Force Reserve non-commissioned officer assigned to U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Nashville District was recently promoted in a ceremony attended by district employees.
  • Transatlantic Division commander promoted to Maj. Gen.

    Maj. Gen. Robert D. Carlson, the commanding general of U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Transatlantic Division, was promoted in a ceremony at the Pentagon May 15. Lt. Gen. Thomas P. Bostick, the USACE commanding general and 53rd chief of engineers, promoted Carlson. This was the second time he promoted Carlson; the first time was to brigadier general. Bostick noted that Carlson is a great leader, coach and mentor.
