The Transatlantic Middle East District (TAM) awarded a Foreign Military Sales (FMS) contract for the procurement and construction of facilities at Al Jaber Air Base, Kuwait.

District Hosts Kuwaiti Mission Partners

The Transatlantic Middle East District provides construction and related support services for U.S. military and allied nation partners throughout the Middle East, and although it has offices in eight countries in the region, the bulk of its program is managed from its headquarters in Winchester. In most cases, TAM project managers and engineers meet with their mission partners in the countries where their projects are located, but on occasion, partners are hosted in Winchester and a bit of local hospitality is showcased along with project overviews.

Middle East District awards Task Order for Super Hornet facilities in Kuwait

The Transatlantic Middle East District (TAM) awarded a task order under the Kuwait MATOC for Super Hornet Training and Warehouse Facility and Warehouse Design, at Al Jaber Air Base, Kuwait. The task order was awarded Aug. 18 for $10,727, 924.00.

Strengthening relationships with close allies through FMS

WINCHESTER, Va. - The Middle East District hosted a delegation of military officers from the United Kingdom in Winchester, Va., Oct. 7-8. Visitors included Cmdr. Fiona Shepherd, Royal Navy; Maj. Paul Brooks, British Army; Capt. William Macgill, British Army; and Flight Lt. David Littlemore, Royal Air Force.
