  • USACE makes Addicks and Barker Master Plan available for public review

    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Galveston District (SWG), in coordination with the USACE Regional Planning and Environmental Center (RPEC), announced that the 2026 Draft Addicks and Barker Master Plan, Finding of No Significant Impact (FONSI), and Environmental Assessment (EA) will be available for public review on January 21, 2026.

  • Open house to be held for the Former Nebraska Ordnance Plant

    The Kansas City District, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, will host an Open House for the Former Nebraska Ordnance Plant on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, from 4:30-6:30 p.m., at the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Country Club in Yutan, Nebraska located south of Highway 92 at 1581 Yutan Road. Project personnel will be available to provide and interpret groundwater sampling results and other site data. To learn more about the former Nebraska Ordnance Plant, please plan on attending this Open House. There will be brief informational presentations on the 2024 Containment Evaluation at 5:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m.
