NR 13-027: Hudson becomes 63rd commander of Nashville District

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (July 9, 2013) – Lt. Col. John L. Hudson took command of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Nashville District during a change of command ceremony today at the Tennessee National Guard Armory. He becomes the 63rd commander in the district’s 125th anniversary year.

Burcham becomes first female General Officer on the Mississippi River Commission

Brigadier General Margaret W. Burcham was officially appointed as a member of the Mississippi River Commission by President Barack Obama May 28, 2013. Burcham is the first female general officer to be appointed to the commission.
