(Sept. 9, 2021) – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Nashville District is soliciting proposals for operation and maintenance of multipurpose recreational facilities, which include a campground and related facilities and services at the Cook Recreation Area on J. Percy Priest Lake in Hermitage, Tennessee. Proposals will be accepted through Jan. 10, 2022.

He is recognized primarily for his leadership at Guntersville Lock and as team leader during a repair action at Wilson Lock in Florence, Alabama.
  • Sahl becomes 67th commander of Nashville District

    NASHVILLE, Tenn. (July 1, 2021) – Lt. Col. Joe M. Sahl took command of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Nashville District today during a change of command ceremony at the Tennessee National Guard Armory. He becomes the 67th commander of the “twin rivers” district, commonly referred to as the jewel of the Great Lakes and Ohio River Division.
