    Col. Edward P. Chamberlayne became the 67th commander of the Baltimore District, during a traditional military change of command ceremony Friday at Fort McHenry. He assumed command from Col. J. Richard Jordan III who has commanded the Baltimore District for the past three years. Chamberlayne, a native of Alexandria, Virginia, will now command the Corps district that includes his hometown.

Stephen Swint, a U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Europe District project manager, just wrapped up his first stint as an assistant coach with the Wiesbaden Red Barons Baseball Club, a startup program for American and German players.

    KUCOVE, Albania – U.S. and Albanian leaders joined students, faculty and parents June 11 to celebrate the reopening of a local school here. U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Europe District managed a $575,000 renovation in support of U.S. Embassy Tirana’s Office of Defense Cooperation and U.S. European Command’s humanitarian-assistance program.

PAUL, Minn. – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, St. Paul District, is hosting an open house at Lock and Dam 1, located near Minnehaha Park in Minneapolis, Saturday, July 18, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The lock and dam, often referred to as the Ford Dam, is located at 5000 West River Parkway, Minneapolis. It is also adjacent to Minnehaha Park.
