    Huntsville Center is managing the $21.5 million contract for the environmental footprint reduction at more than 60 U.S. military camps and bases being closed throughout Afghanistan as a result of the withdrawal of U.S. troops from the country.

    Huntsville Center's Energy Division is assisting the Defense Commissary Agency in developing a comprehensive energy reduction plan that delineates the path DeCA must take to achieve mandated energy reduction goals for its West Area sites.
  • Huntsville team provides expertise in delivering customers cyber secure facilities, systems

    To ensure consistent delivery of efficient, cyber secure facilities and systems to its customers, Huntsville Center established an Information Assurance and Information Technology (IA/IT) Branch in its Engineering Directorate. The center has also been designated the USACE Industrial Control Systems Cybersecurity Technical Center of Expertise (TCX).
  • Real-time feedback goal of new customer comment card program

    Customer satisfaction is one of the key indicators of the health and success of Huntsville Center, which operates as a nearly 100 percent cost-reimbursable organization. Getting feedback from customers more than once a year to better assess their satisfaction is the goal of a new customer comment card program launched at the end of April.
