    Due to scheduled maintenance and repairs, the main (1,200 ft.) chamber at John T. Myers Locks and Dam on the Ohio River at Mt. Vernon, Indiana, will be closed from July 8 through September 11. The auxiliary (600 ft.) chamber will be used for lockages during this period.

    High Water Continues at Lake Shelbyville Lake Shelbyville – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) at Lake Shelbyville continues to report high water conditions at the lake. The pool elevation is 11.28 feet above normal summer pool (599.7 feet referenced to the National Geodetic Vertical Datum (NGVD). The level as of 7 a.m. on Wednesday, June 3, 2020 was 610.98 feet NVGD. The discharge rate was 1990 cubic feet per second (cfs) and the inflow was 820 cfs.

Nadler started his exciting career with the government in 1978 when he joined the U.S. Air Force. He attended Basic Training and Technical School before going into the security police career field in Italy.

While the fleet was on its return trip from Greenup, a small land based crew mobilized to Markland Locks and Dam (LRL) to change out upper emergency gate cables in the Auxiliary Chamber.
