On Aug. 6, Gen. John F. Campbell, Vice Chief of Staff of the Army, addressed the Strategic Leaders' Conference of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in the Belvoir Room of the Officers' Club at Fort Belvoir, Va. About 150 members of the USACE senior military and civilian leadership attended Gen. Campbell's 45-minute speech. Gen. Campbell spoke briefly on the current strategic and fiscal challenges facing the U.S. Army, and then opened the floor for questions from the audience.
