WASHINGTON, D.C. — Duncan Kay of Arlington, Va. maneuvers over ice, gravel, sand, rock and even negotiates around a roadside bomb on the Synthetic Automotive Virtual Environment, or SAVE, April 29 at the 2012 USA Science and Engineering Expo. SAVE was developed by researchers at the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers' Cold Regions Research and Engineering Laboratory.
