GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. — The new check-in area of a surgery floor addition at the Grand Junction Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center awaits patients here, March 23, 2012. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Sacramento District's Utah resident office managed construction of the $13 million addition, which added a 30,000-square-foot surgery floor.
