Command Sergeant Major (CSM) Patrickson Toussaint assumed duties as the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Command Sergeant Major, on 17 July 2020, in the Military District of Washington.

CSM Toussaint entered active duty in March 1993.  He completed Basic Combat Training at Fort Jackson, SC and Advanced Individual Training as a 51R, Interior Electrician, at Fort Leonard Wood, MO.

CSM Toussaint’s awards include the Legion of Merit, Bronze Star Medal (1 OLC), Meritorious Service Medal (5 OLC), Army Commendation Medal with (2 OLC), Joint Meritorious Achievement Medal, Army Achievement Medal, Good Conduct Medal - 9th Award, National Defense Service Medal (1 Bronze Service Star), Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, Kosovo Campaign Medal (2 Bronze Service Stars), Iraqi Campaign Medal (2 Bronze Service Stars), Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Humanitarian Service Medal, Noncommissioned Officer Professional Development Ribbon (Numeral 6), Overseas Service Medal (Numeral 6), United Nations Medal (Haiti), NATO Defense Medal (Kosovo), Joint Meritorious Unit Award, Meritorious Unit Commendation (2 OLC), and the Combat Action Badge.  CSM Toussaint is also a recipient of the Silver Order of the de Fleury Medal.

CSM Toussaint’s military and civilian educations include Basic Leaders Course, Advanced Leaders Course, Senior Leaders Course, Sergeants Major Course Class 60, Executive Leader Course, Master Fitness Trainer Course, Combatives Level I Course, and the Instructors Course at the EURO NATO Training Engineer Centre (ENTEC).  CSM Toussaint holds a Master’s Degree in Project Management.
