  • Pittsburgh District cost-sharing partnership with Pittsburgh Water and Sewage enters design phase

    The Pittsburgh Water and Sewer Authority (PWSA) and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Pittsburgh District (LRP), entered into a cost-sharing agreement to fund the $1.2 million Negley Run Green Infrastructure Project. With the agreement in place and contractors, Tetra Tech and Stantec selected, the project team is moving ahead to conceptualize the plan and develop its project specifications for construction.

    The Department of Land and Natural Resources and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Honolulu District signed a $3 million cost-share agreement today to develop a watershed plan to support the West Maui "Ridge to Reef" Initiative. The Initiative is one of the first efforts in the state to implement a comprehensive management strategy to address impacts to coral reefs across multiple watersheds.
