    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) and Bureau of Reclamation (Reclamation), or co-lead agencies, are pushing back virtual public scoping meetings they previously scheduled for the week of April 7, 2025. The co-lead agencies will also extend the scoping period for a Supplemental Environmental Impact Statement (SEIS) for the Columbia River System Operations.

  • Jacksonville District issues scoping letter for Atlantic Intercoastal Waterway dredging project in Nassau County, Florida

    JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (February 10, 2025) – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Jacksonville District (USACE) is preparing a National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) document for the maintenance dredging and channel re-alignment of portions of the federally authorized and constructed Atlantic Intracoastal Waterway (AIWW) in Nassau County, Florida. The Corps is currently gathering information to define issues and concerns that will be addressed in an analysis to be prepared in compliance with the NEPA in the form of an Environmental Assessment (EA).
