    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Seattle District and the Bonneville Power Administration are postponing the Albeni Falls Dam community open house originally scheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 7, in Sandpoint, Idaho, due to the federal government shutdown on Wednesday, Oct.1.
  • Lakeview Highwater Boat Ramp Closed During Construction

    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Rock Island District, announces the Lakeview Highwater Boat Ramp at Saylorville Lake will be closed Oct. 13-17 due to ongoing construction in the area. There will be no access to the Saylorville Lake Administration Office or the Lakeview Highwater Boat Ramp during this time.     As the sun rose over the swampy brown waters of B.A. Steinhagen Lake on Sept. 13, four veterans and their support crews loaded boats in anticipation of a weekend filled with adrenaline, camaraderie and conservation.
